| Spill Description: |
| On January 1st 2018 at 11:30 AM, lease operator found that the bottom of the production tank was leaking at the Segal 42-34. Based off Cygnet, estimated total of condensate spilled inside containment was 5 barrels. There were no free standing fluids when the operator arrived, just staining around the production tank. Lead operator had the tank bottomed out and transferred to an adjacent tank on location. The tank was then removed and an excavation was done to remove contaiminated soil. Impacted soil will be characterized and remediated as needed to comply with COGCC 900 Series Rules. |
