if work proceeding under an approved Form 27: | N/A | | | | Spill Description: | | A frac contractor overfilled a frac tank while priming their frac equipment in preparation to start frac'ing on the TR 32-23 pad. The spill consisted of approximately 20 bbls of filtered, produced water. All free-standing water was immediately sucked up with a vac-truck. The entiretiy of the spill was contained within the secondary pad perimeter berm, and no water left the TR 1-23 location. Heavy equipment scraped up wet soils. The excavation and excavated (impacted) soils were petro-flagged. All field screening measurements were below the COGCC 910-1 TPH cleanup threshold, and samples are being sent off to lab for confirmatory analyses. Once analytical data are received and confirm that cleanup standards have been met, a NOC will be prepared and submitted to close-out this incident. | | |
