| Spill Description: |
| The release of approximately 300 barrels of produced water was the result of the failure of an expansion joint on a section of pipe located in a building. The building has a concrete floor that is designed in such a manner to capture liquids. It has been estimated that approximately 30 barrels left the building. Vacuum trucks were used to collect the produced water that had collected in the building and any produced water that pooled on the soil around the building. Repairs will be made to the expansion fitting once recovery operations are completed. |
