| Spill Description: |
| A separator on the State North Platte 42-26 CPF had a water leg fail due to internal corrosion. The failure released an unknown amount of produced water to the ground underneath the containment liner. An investigation is currently underway to determine the total volume released. Additional details will be provided in a subsequent eForm 19. On 8/17/17 BCEOC determined the release was likely reportable based on site investigation observations. The spill was then reported to the COGCC via eForm as required. |
