if work proceeding under an approved Form 27: | N/A | | | | Spill Description: | | A small leak was discovered in the bottom of the low-pressure separator vessel at approximately 8:00 a.m. this morning (12/13/16). The calculated volume of the spill is approximately 8.6 bbls condensate. Production personnel were on location yesterday afternoon (12/12/16), and there was no evidence of a leak at that time. The low-pressure separator was removed from service this afternoon, and impacted soils are being excavated and will be land-farmed on-site (with BLM's approval). Once all impacted soils have been excavated, a confirmation sample(s) will be collected to verify that COGCC 910-1 clean-up standards have been met. There are no off-site, or other environmental impacts associated with this incident. | | |
