The nipple broke allowing oil to spill on the ground around the well head. Approximately 12 BBL of oil was spilled of which apporximately 10 BBL was recovered. The broken nipple was replaced and the well placed back into service. A vacuum truck removed the spilled oil. The contaminated soil will be removed and placed in containment for off-site disposal. | | |
