| Spill Description: |
| During production, a pressure gauge failed and released a spray of oil in the immediate area of the wellhead. Approximately 6.5 bbl of oil were sprayed from the pressure gauge. Emergency repsonse personnel were immediately dispatched to begin cleanup of the release. The release occurred on the snow-covered well pad. Crews are currently scraping up the snow for removal to a disposal facility. Once cleanup is completed, environmental personnel will collect soil samples to confirm the well pad surface is compliant with COGCC Table 910-1 standards. |
