| Spill Description: |
| During routine tank battery inspection, personnel observed a release that was completely contained by lined, steel, secondary containment. Further investiagation revealed that freezing conditions caused a load line to split, resulting in a produced water release from the onsite tank. Bonanza Creek is currently investigating the total spill volume. Crews have been dispatched to remove the produced water from the containment. Environmental staff will inspect the containment upon completion of cleanup to ensure the liner integrity was not compromised. |
