| Comment: | The pit (Pit Facility 202698) was permitted by Peter Gintautus as a 36' x 68' x 6' deep unlined production pit for evaporation (4 bbls/day) and percolation (523 bbls/day).
John Duran's inspections from 2012 and 2015 indicate the pit was approximately 30' x 70'.
Abe's 3/26/2025 inspection photos clearly show the footprint of the pit has changed in dimension and that the pit appears to be greater than 6 feet in depth.
2011 Google Earth imagery shows a clear rectangular pit of uniform shape.
2013 Google Earth imagery shows the east side of the pit to be backfilled with material and footprint of the pit smaller in size.
2016 to 2024 Google Earth imagery shows the east side of the pit to be backfilled with more material and footprint of the pit even smaller in size than 2013.
