Comment:Updated pit location based on pit permit (doc #698204) and historical aerials. S. Arauza 8/26/2016. ** Conducted pit status evaluation, determined pit was physically closed between 6/1993 and 1/1998, no Form 4 submitted as required by rules at the time. Based on the evaluation, the pit status has been changed to closed, however, no associated remediation or site investigation has been conducted. Should future conditions at the site indicate contaminant concentrations in soils exceeding COGCC standards or if ground water is found to be impacted, then further investigation and/or remediation activities may be required. The Location is still subject to Final Reclamation Inspection prior to financial assurance release. -GPD 12/28/2022
