ORDER NO. 76-4

 

REPORT OF THE COMMISSION

 

This cause came on for hearing before the Commission on October 16, 1962, at 10 a.m., in Room 132, State Services Building, Denver, Colorado, after publication of Notice of Hearing as required by law on the application of Elmo E. Lewton requesting modification of Order No. 76-3, Cause No. 76, by the deletion of Section 16, Township 2 North, Range 52 West, 6th P.M., Washington County, Colorado, from the Surveyor Creek Field, as such is defined in said Order No. 76-3, in order to afford the owners of the gas well located in the SE¼SE¼ of said Section 16 an opportunity to produce the gas underlying their lease.  Subsequent development indicates that only the S½SE¼ of said Section 16 is commercially productive of gas from the "D" sand formation.

FINDINGS

The Commission finds as follows:

1.      That due notice of the time, place and purpose of the hearing has been given in all respects as required by law.

2.      That the Commission has jurisdiction over the subject matter embraced in said Notice, and of the parties interested therein, and jurisdiction to promulgate the hereinafter prescribed order.

3.      That geologic and engineering information resulting from development and production since issuance of the Commission's Order No. 76-3, dated June 23, 1959, indicates that Section 16, Township 2 North, Range 52 West, 6th P.M., Washington County, Colorado, should be deleted from the Surveyor Creek Field.

4.      That operation of the Yeamans Gas Well,located [sic] in the approximate center of the SE¼SE¼ of said Section 16, should be governed by the general rules and regulations of the Commission.

ORDER

NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS ORDERED, that Section 16, Township 2 North, Range 52 West, 6th P.M., Washington County, Colorado, is hereby deleted from the Surveyor Creek Field, as defined by Order No. 76-3, leaving the area of said field as follows:

IT IS FURTHER ORDERED, that future operations of the Yeamans Gas Well, located in the approximate center of the SE¼SE¼ of Section 16, Township 2 North, Range 52 West, 6th P.M., Washington County, Colorado, shall be governed by the general rules and regulations of the Commission.

IT IS FURTHER ORDERED, that the Commission expressly reserves its right, after notice and hearing, to alter, amend, or repeal any and/or all of the above orders.
