IN THE MATTER OF THE INVESTIGATION TO TAKE MEASURES TO PREVENT WASTE OF OIL AND GAS IN THE "J" SAND, PAWNEE CREEK-NORTH FIELD, LOGAN COUNTY, COLORADO	) ) ) )	CAUSE NO. 69 ORDER NO. 69-3

REPORT OF THE COMMISSION

This cause came on for hearing before the Commission on October 15, 1957, at 10 a.m., in Room 243 State Capitol, Denver, Colorado, after publication of Notice of Hearing as required by law, on the Commission's own motion requesting interested persons to appear and show cause why certain portions of the Pawnee Creek-North Field should not be deleted.

FINDINGS

The Commission finds as follows:

1.      That due notice of the time, place, and purpose of the hearing has been given in all respects as required by law.

2.      That the Commission has jurisdiction over the subject matter embraced in said Notice, and of the parties interested therein, and jurisdiction to promulgate the hereinafter prescribed order.

3.      That on June 21, 1955, the Commission issued its Order No. 69-1 in Cause No. 69, Pawnee Creek-North, establishing forty-acre drilling and spacing units for the production of oil from the "J" sand, common source of supply; and One Hundred Sixty acre drilling and spacing units for the production of gas from said "J" sand, and defining the area to be known as the Pawnee Creek-North Field.  On October 25, 1955, Order No. 69-1 was amended by Order No. 69-2, which deleted a portion of the area of this field as described in said Order No. 69-1.

4.      That subsequent development reveals that Section 23 and the NE/4 of Section 26, Township 8 North, Range 54 West, 6th P.M., Logan County, Colorado, should be deleted from the Pawnee Creek-North Field.

ORDER

NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS ORDERED, that Section Twenty-three (23), and the Northeast Quarter (NE/4) of Section Twenty-six (26), Township Eight (8) North, Range Fifty-four (54) West, 6th P.M., Logan County, Colorado, is hereby deleted from the area described in Order No. 69-2, Cause No. 69, Pawnee Creek-North Field, leaving the area of the Pawnee Creek-North Field as follows:

Northwest Quarter (NW/4) of Section Twenty-six (26), Township Eight (8) North, Range Fifty-four (54) West, 6th P.M., Logan County, Colorado.

IT IS FURTHER ORDERED, that the Commission expressly reserves its right, after notice and hearing, to alter, amend or repeal any and/or all of the above rules and regulations.
