ORDER NO. 54-6

 

REPORT OF THE COMMISSION

 

This cause came on for hearing before the Commission on March 17, 1964, at 10 a.m., in Room 132, State Services Building, Denver, Colorado, after publication of Notice of Hearing as required by law, on the Commission's own motion to consider deletion of certain portions of the area of the Dune Ridge Field, as defined in Order No, 54-3, dated September 17, 1957.

FINDINGS

The Commission finds as follows:

1.      That due notice of the time, place, and purpose of the hearing has been given in all respects as required by law.

2.      That the Commission has jurisdiction over the subject matter embraced in said Notice, and of the parties interested therein, and jurisdiction to promulgate the hereinafter prescribed order.

3.      That on January 6, 1955, the Commission issued its Order No. 54-1 which, among other things, established 40-acre drilling and spacing units for the production of oil and gas from the "D" sand formation underlying the area defined as the Dune Ridge Field, which order was subsequently amended by Order No. 54-3 as to area.

4.      That subsequent development of this area indicates that the following described lands should be deleted from the Dune Ridge Field, Logan County, Colorado, to-wit:

Township 6 North, Range 52 West, 6th P.M.

ORDER

NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS ORDERED, that the lands described in Finding 4 above are hereby deleted from the area defined in Order No. 54-3, Cause No. 54, leaving the area of the Dune Ridge Field as follows:
