ORDER NO. 53-6

 

REPORT OF THE COMMISSION

 

This cause came on for hearing before the Commission on November 21, 1961, at 10 a.m., in Room 320B, State Capitol, Denver, Colorado, after publication of Notice of Hearing as required by law, on the application of the Monsanto Chemical Company, as Unit Operator, for an order approving the enlargement of the Unit Area of the Little Beaver-East Unit, Washington County, Colorado.

FINDINGS

The Commission finds as follows:

1.      That due notice of the time, place and purpose of the hearing has been given in all respects as required by law.

2.      That the Commission has jurisdiction over the subject matter embraced in said Notice, and of the parties interested herein, and jurisdiction to promulgate the hereinafter prescribed order.

3.      That pursuant to the provisions of Article 11 of the Little Beaver-East Unit Agreement and the Unit Operating Agreement, all of the working interest owners of said Unit and all working interest and royalty interest owners of the proposed addition to said Unit Area, have approved the enlargement of the Little Beaver-East Unit Area by the addition of the S½ of the SW¼, Section 35, Township 1 South, Range 56 West of the 6th P.M., Washington County, Colorado.

4.      That said enlargement of the Little Beaver-East Unit Area will protect correlative rights, increase ultimate recovery of oil and gas, and prevent waste, and should therefore be approved as being in the public interest for conservation.

ORDER

NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS ORDERED, that the enlargement of the Little Beaver-East Unit Area, "D" Sand, to include the South Half of the Southwest Quarter (S½ SW¼) of Section Thirty-five (35), Township One (1) South, Range Fifty-six (56) West of the 6th P.M., Washington County, Colorado, is hereby approved, and said Little Beaver-East Unit Area shall henceforth be composed of the following lands in Washington County, Colorado, to-wit:


 

Township 1 South, Range 56 West, 6th P, M.

Section 34:

E½, E½SW¼

Township 2 South, Range 56 West, 6th P.M.

IT IS FURTHER ORDERED, that the Commission expressly reserves its right, after notice and hearing, to alter, amend or repeal any and/or all of the above order.
