REPORT OF THE COMMISSION

This cause came on for hearing before the Commission on October 15, 1957, at 10 a.m., in Room 243 State Capitol, Denver, Colorado, after publication of Notice of Hearing as required by law, on the Commission's own motion requesting interested persons to appear and present testimony relating to the productive limits of the Big Beaver Field.

FINDINGS

The Commission finds as follows:

1.      That due notice of the time, place and purpose of the hearing has been given in all respects as required by law.

2.      That the Commission has jurisdiction over the subject matter embraced in said Notice, and of the parties interested therein, and jurisdiction to promulgate the hereinafter prescribed order.

3.      That on September 28, 1954, the Commission issued its Order No. 44-1 in Cause No. 44, Big Beaver, establishing forty-acre drilling and spacing units for the production of oil and gas from the "J" sand, common source of supply, and defining the area to be known as the Big Beaver Field.

4.      That subsequent development reveals that Sections 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, N/2 and SW/4 of Section 8, Sections 10 and 15, SE/4 of Section 16, W/2 of Section 17, all of Section 18, E/2 of Section 19, S/2 and NW/4 of Section 20, and all of Sections 21 and 22, Township 3 South, Range 56 West, 6th P.M., Washington County, Colorado, should be deleted from the Big Beaver Field.

ORDER

NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS ORDERED, that Sections Three (3), Four (4), Five (5), Six (6), Seven (7), North Half and Southwest Quarter (N/2, SW/4) of Section Eight (8), Sections Ten (10) and Fifteen (15), Southeast Quarter (SE/4) of Section Sixteen (16), West Half (W/2) of Section Seventeen (17), all of Section Eighteen (18), East Half (E/2) of Section Nineteen (19), South Half and Northwest Quarter (S/2, NW/4) of Section Twenty (20), and all of Sections Twenty-one (21) and Twenty-two (22), Township Three (3) South, Range Fifty-six (56) West, 6th P.M., Washington County, Colorado are hereby deleted from the area described in Order No. 44-1, Big Beaver Field, leaving the area of the Big Beaver Field as follows:

Southeast Quarter (SE/4) of Section Eight (8), all of Section Nine (9), North Half and Southwest Quarter (N/2, SW/4) of Section Sixteen (16), East Half (E/2) of Section Seventeen (17), and the Northeast Quarter (NE/4) of Section Twenty (20), Township Three (3) South, Range Fifty-six (56) West, 6th P.M., Washington County, Colorado.

IT IS FURTHER ORDERED, that the Commission expressly reserves its right, after notice and hearing, to alter, amend or repeal any and/or all of the above order.
