REPORT OF THE COMMISSION

TilLs cause came on for hearing before the Commission on june 15, 1981 at 9:00 A.M., in Room 110, State Centennial Building, Denver, Colorado, after giving Notice of Hearing as required by law, on the application of Dome Petroleum Corporation, for an order establishing 640-acre drilling and spacing units for the production of oil and associated hydrocarbons from the Niobrara formation underlying certain lands in Rout[ County, Colorado.

FINDINGS

The Commission finds as follows:

1. Dome Petroleum Corporation, as applicant herein, is an interested party in the subject matter of the above-referenced hearing.

2. Due notice of the time, place and purpose of the hearing has been given in all respects as required by law.

3. The Commission has jurisdiction over the subject matter embraced in said Notice, and of the parties interested therein, and jurisdiction to promulgate the hereinafter prescribed order.

4. Evidence presented at the hearing was insufficient to indicate that. there is a common source of supply underlying the area requested to be spaced, and further that one well would efficiently and economically drain an area of 640-acres; therefore, the application should be denied.

ORDER

NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS ORDERED, that the application of Dome Petro-leum Corporation to establish 640-acre drilling and spacing units for the production of oil and associated hydrocarbons from the Niobrara formation underlying certain lands in the Bull Mountain Field, Routt County, Colorado, is hereby denied.
