REPORT OF THE COMMISSION
This cause came on for hearing before the Commission on April 20, 1981 at 9:00 A.M., in Room 110, State Centennial Building, Denver, Colorado, after giving Notice of Hearing as required by law, on the application of Northwest Exploration Com-pany, for an order granting an exception to the spacing pattern as established by Order No. 334-1 for the Great Divide Field, Moffat County, Colorado.
FINDINGS
The Commission finds as follows:
1. Northwest Exploration Company, as applicant herein, is an interested party in the subject matter of the above-referenced hearing.
2. Due notice of the time, place and purpose of the hearing has been given in all respects as required by law.
3. The Commission has jurisdiction over the subject matter embraced in said Notice, and of the parties interested therein, and jurisdiction to promulgate the hereinafter prescribed order.
4. On May 15, 1978, the Commission issued Order No. 334-1 which estab-lished 320-acre drilling and spacing units for the production of gas from the Middle Lewis formation, as defined, underlying certain lands in the Great Divide Field, Moffat County, Colorado. Permitted well locations are in the RE/4 and SW/4 of each section and no closer than 600 feet from the boundaries of the quarter section upon which it is located, and no closer than 1320 feet from another producible gas well from the same formation. 5. A well has been drilled at the permitted location in the SW/4 Section 32, Township 10 North, Range 93 West, 6th P.M. and was plugged and abandoned as a dry hole.
6. Evidence presented at the hearing indicates that a well should be allowed to be drilled in the NW/4 of said Section 32, no closer than 600 feet to the bounda-ries of the quarter section and that it be the permitted well for the unit consisting of the W/2 of said Section 32.
7. No objections to the application were received.
ORDER
NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS ORDERED, that an exception to the spacing pattern established by Order No. 334-1, for a well to be drilled in the NW/4 Section 32, Township 10 North, Range 93 West, 6th P.M., Great Divide Field, Moffat County, Colorado, at a location no closer than 600 feet from the boundaries of the quarter section and that it be the permitted well for the unit consisting of the W/2 of said Section 32.
IT IS FURTHER ORDERED, that the provisions contained in the above order shall become effective forthwith.
