IN THE MATTER OF THE INVESTIGATION TO TAKE MEASURES TO PREVENT WASTE OF OIL AND GAS IN THE MASTERS FIELD, WELD AND MORGAN COUNTIES, COLORADO |
) ) ) ) |
CAUSE NO. 31
ORDER NO. 31-7 |
REPORT OF THE COMMISSION
This cause came on for hearing before the Commission on October 18, 1960, at 10:00 a.m., in Room 720, State Services Building, Denver, Colorado, after publication of Notice of Hearing as required by law, on the application of Frank Walsh, as operator of the Masters Field, for an order approving a certain Unitization Agreement attached to said application and covering operations in the Masters Field.
FINDINGS
The Commission finds as follows:
1. That due notice of the time, place and purpose of the hearing has been given in all respects as required by law.
2. That the Commission has jurisdiction over the subject matter embraced in said Notice, and of the parties interested therein, and jurisdiction to promulgate the hereinafter prescribed order.
3. That on February 23, 1960, the Commission issued Order No. 31-6, which, among other things, redefined the Masters Field and approved a water injection project for the "D" sand reservoir of said field.
4. That the Unitization Agreement covering operations in the Masters Field, as presented by Applicant, is necessary to increase the ultimate recovery of oil from said Masters Field, and should therefore be approved as being in the public interest for conservation.
ORDER
NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS ORDERED that the Unitization Agreement covering the Masters Field, as defined by Order No. 31-6, and providing for unit operations of the "D" sand formation underlying said Masters Field, is hereby approved.
IT IS FURTHER ORDERED, that the Commission expressly reserves its right, after notice and hearing, to alter, amend or repeal any and/or all of the above order.
ORDERED this 18th day of October 1960.
