ORDER NO. 232-15

 

REPORT OF THE COMMISSION

 

This cause came on for hearing before the Commission on April 18, 1977, at 9 a.m., in Room 110, State Centennial Building, Denver, Colorado, after giving Notice of Hearing as required by law, on the application of Webb Resources, Inc. for an order requiring the operators of certain wells in the Wattenberg Gas Spaced Area to furnish to the Commission such bottom hole pressure data and other additional production and test data as may be deemed necessary in order for the Commission to determine if waste may be occurring and correlative rights may not be protected by virtue of Order No. 232-11.

 

FINDINGS

 

The Commission finds as follows:

 

1.      That due notice of the time, place and purpose of the hearing has been given in all respects as required by law.

 

2.      That the Commission has jurisdiction over the subject matter embraced in said Notice, and of the parties interested therein, and jurisdiction to promulgate the hereinafter prescribed order.

 

3.      That on January 26, 1976, the Commission issued its Order No. 232-11 which considered the Well No. 20-4, located 600 feet from the north line and 600 feet from the west line, Section 20, Township 2 South, Range 64 West, 6th P.M., an exception to the spacing pattern as established by previous orders in Cause No. 232, and provided for a restriction of production from the well to 25% of the average of the daily production of gas from all direct offset wells drilled in accordance with the spacing pattern.

 

4.      That since applicant, Webb Resources, Inc., would be unwilling to assume liability for any and all claims for damages which may occur to any of the wells during a bottom-hole pressure survey, the application should therefore be denied.

 

ORDER

 

NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS ORDERED, that the application submitted March 21, 1977 by Webb Resources, Inc., requesting a bottom-hole pressure survey on certain wells in the Wattenberg Gas Spaced Area is hereby denied.
