ORDER NO. 2-35

 

REPORT OF THE COMMISSION

 

This cause came on for hearing before the Commission on September 17, 1979 at 9:00 A.M., in Room 110, State Centennial Building, Denver, Colorado, after giving Notice of Hearing as required by law, on the application of Grace Petroleum Corporation informing the Commission that it has obtained approval of the required percentage of interest for the unit operations in the Rangely Northeast (Weber) Unit Area, and therefore requests that the Commission issue an order approving the plan for unit operations as described in Order No. 2-34.

 

FINDINGS

 

The Commission finds as follows:

 

1.      Grace Petroleum Corporation, as applicant herein, is an interested party in the subject matter of the above-referenced hearing.

 

2.      Due notice of the time, place and purpose of the hearing has been given in all respects as required by law.

 

3.      The Commission has jurisdiction over the subject matter embraced in said Notice, and of the parties interested therein, and jurisdiction to promulgate the hereinafter prescribed order.

 

4.      The Commission issued Order No. 2-34 on August 3, 1979, which approved the plan for unit operations and the waterflood project for the Weber reservoir underlying the Rangely Northeast (Weber) Unit Area; however, such order would not become effective unless, or until the persons owning the required percentage of interest in the Unit Area approve said plan.

 

5.      At the time of the hearing, Applicant informed the Commission that approval by the necessary percentage of interests has been obtained; therefore, the Commission should approve the said plan of unit operations and make effective the provisions of Order No. 2-34.

 

ORDER

 

NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS ORDERED that the plan for unit operations covering the Rangely Northeast (Weber) Unit Area, as defined in Order 2-34 is hereby approved.

 

IT IS FURTHER ORDERED, that Order No. 2-34 in Cause No. 2, issued August 3, 1979 shall become effective forthwith.
