IN THE MATTER OF THE INVESTIGATION TO TAKE MEASURES TO PREVENT WASTE OF OIL AND GAS IN THE RANGELY FIELD IN THE STATE OF COLORADO |
) ) ) ) |
CAUSE NO. 2
ORDER NO. 2-25 (Emergency) |
FINDINGS
The Commission finds as follows:
1. That an emergency exists in the operations of the Rangely Field.
2. That in order to be fair and reasonable, and to give every operator the maximum opportunity to present his views on Rangely Field rules and regulations, and to advise the Commission as to the possible effect on his operations of Order No. 2-23, as extended, or Order No. 2-24, the Commission should hold a hearing on October 25, 1955, to take further evidence on rules and regulations of the Weber reservoir of the Rangely Field.
3. That the operators have represented to the Commission that they will endeavor, as far as possible, to maintain a status quo in regard to the present operations of the Rangely Field.
4. That the hearing on October 25, 1955, will materially aid the Commission in determining a proper order for the Rangely Field, and that consideration of the forthcoming order for operations of the Weber reservoir of the Rangely Field should not be prejudiced by any orders heretofore issued.
ORDER
NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS ORDERED, that Order No. 2-23, as extended, and Order No. 2-24 are hereby withdrawn, and that a hearing shall be held on October 25, 1955, to take further evidence in regard to field rules and regulations for the Weber reservoir of the Rangely Field.
IT IS FURTHER ORDERED, that this Order shall become effective on the 14th day of October, 1955, and shall remain in full force and effect for fifteen (15) days.
ORDERED this 13th day of October, 1955.
