BEFORE THE OIL AND GAS CONSERVATION COMMISSION OF THE STATE OF COLORADO
IN THE MATTER OF THE INVESTIGATION TO TAKE MEASURES TO PREVENT WASTE OF OIL AND GAS IN THE RANGELY FIELD IN THE STATE OF COLORADO	) ) ) )	CAUSE NO. 2 ORDER NO. 2-10

REPORT OF THE COMMISSION

On June 20, 1952, the Commission entered its Order No. 2-8 in the above entitled matter, said order including, among other things, Rule 3(a) to be effective during the six months period from July 1, 1952 to and including December 31, 1952, and Rule 3(b) to become effective on and after January 1, 1953.

On November 25, 1952, the Commission entered its Order No. 2-9, which, among other things, extended the effective period for compliance with the provisions of Rule 3(a) of its said Order No. 2-8 to be effective during the three months period from December 31, 1952 to and including March 31, 1953, and extended the effective date of Rule 3(b) of said Order No. 2-8 to April 1, 1953.

This matter came on for further hearing before the Commission on March 11, 1953 at 10:00 A.M. at 824 Equitable Building, Denver, Colorado, pursuant to Notice of Hearing issued by the Commission on its own motion February 18, 1953, said hearing being called to further extend the effective date of Rule 3(b) of the Commissions. Order No. 2-8 until June 1, 1953 and to further extend the effective period for compliance with Rule 3(a) of its said Order No. 2-8 to be effective from March 1, 1953 to and including May 31, 1953.

FINDINGS

The Commission finds as follows:

(1)     That due notice of the time, place and purpose of the hearing of this matter was given in all respects as required by law.

(2)     That the Commission has jurisdiction over the subject matter embraced in said notice and of the parties interested therein, and jurisdiction to promulgate the following prescribed Order.

(3)     That the Order or Orders hereinafter prescribed are necessary in order that full compliance with the Commission's Orders No. 2-8 and No. 2-9 can best be accomplished.

ORDER

NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS ORDERED that the effective period for compliance with the provisions of Rule 3(a) of said Order No. 2-8, as amended by Order No. 2-9 is hereby extended to be effective during the two months period from March 31, 1953 to and including May 31, 1953.

IT IS FURTHER ORDERED that the effective date of Rule 3(b) of the Commission's Order No. 2-8, as amended by Order No. 2-9, is hereby extended to June 1, 1953.

IT IS FURTHER ORDERED that this Order shall become effective forthwith.
