REPORT OF THE COMMISSION
This cause came on for hearing before the Commission on August 18, 1986 at 9:00 am in Room 110, State Centennial Building, 1313 Sherman Street, Denver, Colorado after giving Notice of Hearing, as required by law on the Commission's own motion requesting Jerry Dickinson, of Dickinson Exploration, to appear before the Commission and show cause why the Commission should not impose a penalty as provided for in 34-60-121 C.R.S. as amended for violation of the Rules & Regulations by the Commission and why the Commission should not order certain wells to be plugged and abandoned.
FINDINGS
The Commission finds as follows:
1. Due notice of the time, place and purpose of the hearing has been given in all respects as required by law.
2. The Commission has jurisdiction over the subject matter embraced in said Notice, and of the parties interested therein, and jurisdiction to promulgate the hereinafter prescribed order.
3. On October 3, 1985, February 24, 1986 and July 17t 1986 Mr. Jerry Dickinson of Dickinson Exploration was contacted regarding the status and disposition of several wells owned/or operated by him in Township 35 & 36 North, Range 13 & 16 West NMPM, Montezuma County, Colorado. To date Mr. Dickinson failed to respond to these requests which is in violation of the Rules & Regulations of the Commission.
4. Mr. Dickinson, who was notified by certified mail of the hearing which was returned unclaimed, failed to appear at the hearing.
5. The wells should therefore be plugged and abandoned under the provisions of the plugging bond on file with the Commission.

O R D E R
NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS ORDERED, that the wells as listed in Finding 5 therein above shall be plugged and abandoned under the provisions of the plugging bond on file with the Commission.
IT IS FURTHER ORDERED, that the provisions contained in the above order shall become effective forthwith.
