REPORT OF THE COMMISSION

 

Pursuant to a hearing before the Oil and Gas Conservation Commission on September 16, 1997, in the La Plata County Commissioner Hearing Room, 1060 E. 2nd Avenue, Durango, Colorado, the Oil and Gas Conservation Commission promulgated amendments to its Rules and Regulations to amend certain rules in the 900-Series and Appendix III to read as shown below.

 

903.   DRILLING PITS

          a.       Permitting requirement.

                   (2)                An Application for Permit for Unlined Pit, Form 15, for a drilling pit subject to Rule 903.a.(1) shall be submitted for approval by the Director with a filing and service fee established by the Commission (see Appendix III) and shall include the following:

 

904.   PRODUCTION PITS

       e.     Unlined production pits - technical requirements.

                   (2)      The application for an unlined production pit permit when required by Rule 904.b. shall be submitted for approval by the Director with a filing and service fee established by the Commission (see Appendix III) and shall consist of a completed Application for Permit for Unlined Pit, Form 15, and the following additional information.

 

908. MANAGEMENT OF E&P WASTE

       e.     Oily  waste.

                   (1)      Land treatment and recycling facilities.

                             B.       A land treatment permit application shall be submitted along with a filing and service fee established by the Commission (see Appendix III), and include the following information in accordance with the COGCC/EGD:
