ORDER NO. 18-3

 

REPORT OF THE COMMISSION

 

This cause came on for hearing before the Commission on June 23, 1959, at 10 a.m., in the Game Room of the Albany Hotel, Denver, Colorado, after publication of Notice of Hearing as required by law on the application of W, C. McBride, Inc., The Coronado Company, Carver-Dodge Oil Company, and Skelly Oil Company, requesting the Commission to modify and supplement Order No. 18-2, Cause No. 18, by adding thereto the E½ of Section 8, Township 9 North, Range 52 West, 6th P.M., as a drilling and spacing unit, and to permit the location of a gas well on said drilling and spacing unit to be located 2320 feet north of the south line, and 990 feet west of the east line of said drilling and spacing unit.

 

FINDINGS

 

The Commission finds as follows:

 

1.      That due notice of the time, place and purpose of the hearing has been given in all respects as required by law.

 

2.      That the Commission has jurisdiction over the subject matter embraced in said Notice, and of the parties interested therein, and jurisdiction to promulgate the hereinafter prescribed order.

 

3.      That on April. 25, 1955, the Commission issued its Order No. 18-2, which, among other things, defined the Padroni Field.

 

4.      That subsequent information and testimony presented at the hearing reveals that the "D" sand formation of the Padroni Field constitutes a common source of supply of gas underlying, in addition to the area set forth in said Order No, 18-2, the following described lands in Logan County, Colorado, to-wit:

 

Township 9 North, Range 52 West, 6th P.M.

 

 

Section 8: E½

 

and that such area should be subject to the provisions of Order No. 18-2, and established as an additional drilling and spacing unit for the production of gas from the "D" sand formation underlying said area; and a well located 2320 feet north of the south line and 990 feet west of the east line of said drilling and spacing unit, should be the permitted well for said drilling and spacing unit.

 


 

ORDER

 

NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS ORDERED, that the East Half (E½) of Section Eight (8), Township Nine (9) North, Range Fifty-two (52) West, 6th P.M., Logan County, Colorado, shall be included in the Padroni Field and be subject to the provisions of Order No. 18-2, and such area is hereby established as a drilling and spacing unit for the production of gas from the "D" sand formation underlying said area; and henceforth the Padroni Field shall include the following described lands in Logan County, Colorado, to-wit:

 

East Half (E½) of Section Eight (8),

South Half (S½) of Section Nine (9),

South Half (S½) of Section Ten (10),

West Half (W½) of Section Fifteen (15),

all of Section Sixteen (16),

Southeast Quarter (SE¼) of Section Seventeen (17), Northeast Quarter (NE¼) of Section Twenty (20), and North Half (N½) of Section Twenty-one (21), Township Nine (9) North, Range Fifty-two {52) West of the 6th P.M.

 

IT IS FURTHER ORDERED, that the Commission expressly reserves its right, after notice and hearing to alter, amend, or repeal any and/or all of the above order.
