REPORT OF THE COMMISSION

This cause came on for hearing before the Commission July 19, 1966, at 10 a.m., in Room 132, State Services Building, Denver, Colorado, after publication of Notice of Hearing as required by law, on the Commission's own motion to consider possible deletion of portions of the French Creek Field.

FINDINGS

The Commission finds as follows:

1.      That due notice of the time, place, and purpose of the hearing has been given in all respects as required by law.

2.      That the Commission has jurisdiction over the subject matter embraced in said Notice, and of the parties interested therein, and jurisdiction to promulgate the hereinafter prescribed Order.

3.      That on May 12, 1953, the Commission issued its Order No. 16-1 which, among other things, defined the Frenchman Creek Field and established 160-acre drilling and spacing units for production of gas from the "J" sand formation underlying said field.

4. That subsequent development of this area indicates that the SW¼ of Section 29, and S½ of Section 30, Township 8 North, Range 50 West, 6th P.M., Logan County, Colorado, should be deleted from said Frenchman Creek Field.
