REPORT OF THE COMMISSION

 

This cause came on for hearing before the Commission on November 21, 1961, at 10 a.m., in Room 320B, State Capitol, Denver, Colorado, after publication of Notice of Hearing as required by law, on the application of The Cramer Company, Limited, for an exception to Rule 317 of the Rules and Regulations of The Oil and Gas Conservation Commission of the State of Colorado, for a well to be drilled on the E˝NEĽNEĽ of Section 16, Township 2 South, Range 55 West, 6th P.M., Washington County, Colorado.

 

FINDINGS

 

The Commission finds as follows:

 

1.      That due notice of the time, place and purpose of the hearing has been given in all respects as required by law.

 

2.      That the Commission has jurisdiction over the subject matter embraced in said Notice, and of the parties interested therein, and jurisdiction to promulgate the hereinafter prescribed order.

 

3.      That geological testimony presented at the hearing indicates that the requirement to drill the well at the authorized location, as set forth in Rule 317 of the Rules and Regulations of The Oil and Gas Conservation Commission of the State of Colorado, would be inequitable and unreasonable.

 

4.      That an exception to said Rule 317 should be allowed for a well to be drilled on the following location in Washington County, Colorado:

 

East Half of the Northeast Quarter of the Northeast Quarter (E˝NEĽNEĽ) of Section Sixteen (16), Township Two (2) South, Range Fifty-five (55) West of the 6th P.M., and 330 feet from the east line of the lease.

 

ORDER

 

NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS ORDERED, that an exception is hereby granted for a well to be drilled 330 feet from the east line of the lease, on the East Half of the Northeast Quarter of the Northeast Quarter (E˝NEĽNEĽ) of Section Sixteen (16), Township Two (2) South, Range Fifty-five (55) West of the 6th P.M., Washington County, Colorado.
