ORDER NO. 157-7

 

REPORT OF THE COMMISSION

 

This cause came on for hearing before the Commission on December 16, 1985 at 9:00 a.m., in Room 110 State Centennial Building, 1313 Sherman Street, Denver, Colorado, after giving Notice of Hearing as required by law, on the verified application of Colorado Interstate Gas Co. for an order to rescind the provisions of Order No. 157-1.

 

FINDINGS

 

The Commission finds as follows:

 

1.      Colorado Interstate Gas Co., as applicant herein, is an interested party in the subject matter of the above-referenced hearing.

 

2.      Due notice of the time, place and purpose of the hearing has been given in all respects as required by law.

 

3.      The Commission has jurisdiction over the subject matter embraced in said Notice, and of the parties interested therein, and jurisdiction to promulgate the hereinafter prescribed order.

 

4.      On October 24, 1961 the Commission authorized Order No. 157-1 to be issued which established 80-acre drilling and spacing units for the production of oil from the Upper Morrow Sand underlying the following described lands in Baca County, Colorado:

 

Township 34 South, Range 42 West, 6th P.M.

 

Section 5:  S/2

Section 16:  All

 

Section 6:  S/2

Section 17:  All

 

Section 7:  All

Section 18:  All

 

Section 8:  All

 

 

5.      Based on the facts stated in the verified application and the exhibits presented, and having received no objections and having been reviewed and recommended for approval by the Director as Hearing Officer, the Commission should rescind the provisions of Order No. 157-1 and make the lands described in Finding 4 herein, subject to the general rules and regulations of the Commission.

 

ORDER

 

NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS ORDERED, that Order No. 157-1 is hereby rescinded and the lands described in Finding 4 herein shall be subject to the general rules and regulations of the Commission.

 

IT IS FURTHER ORDERED, that the provisions contained in the above order shall become effective forthwith.
