ORDER NO. 116-11

 

REPORT OF THE COMMISSION

 

This cause came on for hearing before the Commission on February 18, 1975 at 9 a.m., in Room 532, State Services Building, Denver, Colorado, after giving Notice of Hearing as required by law, on the Commission's own motion to consider the rescinding of the orders in Cause No. 116 for the Bijou Field.

 

FINDINGS

 

The Commission finds as follows:

 

1.      That due notice of the time, place and purpose of the hearing has been given in all respects as required by law.

 

2.      That the Commission has jurisdiction over the subject matter embraced in said Notice, and of the parties interested therein, and jurisdiction to promulgate the hereinafter prescribed order.

 

3.      That on March 14, 1958, the Commission issued Order No. 116-1 which requested quarterly gas-oil ratio tests and bottom-hole pressure surveys on wells producing from the "D" Sand in the Bijou Area.  Subsequent orders restricted production from the reservoir, established 40-acre drilling and spacing units for the production of oil, and two (2) 160-acre units for the production of gas from the "D" Sand underlying certain lands in Morgan County, Colorado.  On January 15, 1963 the Commission issued its Order No. 116-10 which approved a certain Unit Agreement for the Bijou Unit Area, which area was also defined as the limits of the Bijou Field and described as follows:

ORDER

 

NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS ORDERED, that the previous orders in Cause No. 116, for the Bijou Field, Morgan County, Colorado, are hereby rescinded, and operations in the area as described in Finding 3 herein shall be governed by the general rules and regulations of the Commission.
