                        Opposition:        The Bureau of Land Management (“BLM”) filed with the Commission a letter in opposition to the

                                                application on March 27, 2000 and a letter on November 16, 2000 in opposition to the amended application with regard to allocation of production.  The BLM filed a letter on November 30, 2000 requesting the matter be removed from the Commission’s docket until the Tribal Court issues its final decision.

 

                        Subject:            Request was originally to drill an optional well in the SW¼ of Section 21, Township 33 North, Range 10 West, N.M.P.M. due to an alleged correlative rights violation.  Well drilled and producing as of October 2000 under Order No. 112-156.  Application amended on October 25, 2000 to request the Commission issue a Notice of Alleged Violation and to determine past and future allocation of production from the Vastar No. 21-1 Well in the E½ of Section 21.

 

                        Comments:       Continued from the April and October hearings.  Prehearing conferences were held April 20 and November 17.  Prehearing conference summary provided.  On November 30, 2000 Petrogulf filed with the Commission a letter stating that a settlement agreement has been entered into with Vastar and that the hearing is no longer needed; accordingly, the hearing in this matter has been canceled.
